بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Today, I choose peace over attachment.
My calling is to educate, inspire, and let others fly beyond my life. They were never meant to stay with me forever. They were entrusted to me for a season, so I could help shape their minds, strengthen their character, and prepare them for the world.
As a mother, I understand that true love is never about possession. It is about nurturing, praying, and having the courage to let go when the time comes. A mother's greatest joy is not keeping her child close forever, but watching them walk confidently into their own future.
Today, I remind myself that him is one of many beautiful chapters in my journey as an educator. He made me smile. He reminded me of kindness. He gave me conversations that brightened ordinary days. For all of that, I am grateful.
But I also understand that not every beautiful chapter is meant to become the entire story.
Allah is.
If this experience has taught me anything, it is that my heart belongs to Allah before it belongs to anyone else.
He is Al-Wadūd, The Most Loving.
But Allah remains.
I refuse to allow my happiness to depend on someone whose path I cannot control. Instead, I will build my happiness upon the One who never changes, never leaves, and never disappoints.
From today onward, I choose to love through dua instead of attachment.
I choose to remember through gratitude instead of longing. I choose to let go with dignity instead of holding on with fear.
If him remembers me one day, I hope he remembers me as a lecturer who believed in him, encouraged him, and prayed for his success. not as someone who held him back.
That is enough. That is more than enough. My mission is greater than one student.
There are still many young hearts waiting to be inspired, many lives waiting to be touched, and many opportunities for me to serve through knowledge, compassion, and sincerity.
I will continue to wake up for Tahajjud, not because my heart is broken, but because my heart has found its way back to Allah.
Every tear I shed will become a prayer.
Every longing I feel will become remembrance of Allah.
Every goodbye will become an act of trust.
Because I now understand that Allah never takes something from His servant without opening another door of mercy.
So today, I smile.
Not because letting go is easy.
But because I know Who is holding my heart.
Ya Allah,
Thank You for every lesson You have written for me.
Thank You for every person You have placed in my path.
If they were a blessing, I am grateful.
If they were a lesson, I am grateful.
If they were a means to bring me closer to You, then I am forever grateful.
Strengthen my heart.
Purify my intentions.
Make me a lecturer who educates with wisdom, a mother who loves with sincerity, and a servant who places You above everything else.
I let you go,
not because you meant nothing,
but because Allah means everything.
I let you go,
not because I stopped praying for you, but because I learned that my prayers do not need to become my attachment.
I let you go,
with gratitude instead of grief. With dignity instead of desperation. With peace instead of possession. You were never mine.
You were always Allah's.
Just as I am.
Perhaps you were only a bridge that led me back to the One, I had been searching for all along.
Now,
when I wake before dawn, my first conversation is no longer with my thoughts. It is with Allah.
When tears fall, they no longer ask,
"Why can't I have him?"
They whisper,
"Ya Allah, keep my heart with You."
That... is the answer. I had been searching for. Not in another person.
But in my Creator.
For in the end...
The greatest love story of my life is not with another human being.
It is my journey back to You.
